Like all of the RG series this guitar has been made with shredders and heavy handed riffers in mind so it still has the same lightweight design and slim neck that made these guitars so loved in the first place. Made with a mahogany body with a poplar burl top this guitar has a bit more chunk to it than you may be used too out of an Ibanez RG. The neck however is the same Wizard III maple design that stays completely out of your way so your hands can do the talking.

Sweet Pickups

Ibanez have building their own pickups for years now. No matter if it is for their entry model guitars or some of their top of the range models Ibanez pickups are always a dream to use. This new set of Quantum HSH pickups are perfectly matched to this guitar with the bridge providing a great hot rhythm sound, the neck working great for smooth shredding leads while the middle single coil brings the best out of your amps clean channel.

Divebombs and Squeals

Set up with a double locking tremolo system this guitar gives you full access to a myriad of different sounds unique to this type of tremolo system. It is not only helpful for adding in really cool tricks and accents but this system also keeps your guitar in tune at all times. No matter how crazy you go with the tremolo this will not shift out of tune.
