The main target customers for the US-4×4 is those, interested in music production, and especially beginners. Development was undertaken to deliver devices that are easy to use and understand, enabling users to simply connect them and immediately enjoy high-sound quality recording.
For mic preamps – a key determinant of sound quality – Ultra-HDDA mic preamps that achieve a stunning EIN rating of –125dBu have been installed. This was a result of careful consideration of user-friendliness when connecting the device with a condenser mic, as well as for dynamic microphones. As a result, the devices can be used in a wide range of applications – from vocal recording to stereo recording of piano and acoustic guitar. The eye-catching innovative design was the brainchild of a prominent German designer that has worked on numerous music production devices. The slightly angular design provides users with desktop recording that’s free from hassle.
Driver and software with easy to use simple settings
Driver software installation is something that every user has to contend with when they start using a USB audio interface for the first time. In order to enable users to start their music production smoothly, the designated driver has been newly designed. This driver software had all complex functions removing, allowing anyone to easily install and use it.
Compatibility with most major DAW software has already been confirmed, granting users the option of using the device in combination with DAW system of their choice. In addition, the US-4×4 supports recording using iPad or other iOS devices that have been popular within recent years. Using an Apple-manufactured lightning-USB camera adapter will allow usage of the US-4×4 as an audio interface for iPads.

A USB 2.0 connection is used for connection to computers so that beginners to DAW recording can use the US-4×4 with ease. The 96kHz format being supported means that users will be able to use the US-4×4 without needing high-spec devices. The US-4×4, alternatively, supports multi-mic recording with its four mic preamps.
