The Bugera 1990 INFINIUM 120-Watt Tube Amplifier Head features two hand-built tube-driven channels designed to produce a ’90s rock and metal tone for both live performance and recording. In addition to having two channels, the 1990 also features two switchable modes of operation, pentode and triode. Pentode mode provides 120 watts of output for fully overdriven sounds, while triode mode gives you 60 watts of output with more harmonic overtones. The 1990 also features a rear-panel 1/4″ Recording output that is frequency compensated, allowing you to track to your favorite DAW or recording device without the need for miking your speakers.
The 1990 INFINIUM features Bugera’s INFINIUM Tube Life Multiplier Technology, which is designed to lengthen the life of your tubes and optimize their output by dynamically balancing the drive between them to evenly distribute the load. When you do need to replace a tube, the system will indicated which one with its back panel LED indicators. The 1990 INFINIUM additionally has an output impedance switch, allowing you to select between four, eight, and 16 ohms for compatibility with a variety of speaker cabinets.
