Introduced in 2017, the Gold series has been very well received in the market and is enjoying ever-increasing popularity. The Gold OC8 is the latest top model of this series and is aimed at all guitarists looking for a compact and comfortable acoustic Guitar with preamp and 43mm nut width. With the Gold Series, Cort introduces fully solid acoustic guitar series with thermally treated ("torrified") tops and bracing. "Age To Vintage" is what Cort calls this process, which mimics the aging process of the top over the decades. So from the beginning you get that wonderfully full, overtone-rich and balanced sound that you know from old, well-rehearsed instruments. The very thin UV varnish of the Gold Series supports the excellent vibration characteristics of the Guitar. In addition, as another important element for the best possible sound, the "Doublelock Neckjoint" was developed, which improves the vibration transmission by means of additional bolting of the neck to the body.
