The Epiphone Dot Studio, A New Twist on the Rock and Roll Machine

• The Epiphone Dot, Epiphone's version of the venerable ES-335 “Dot”, has been wowing guitar players all over the world for a decade. Vintage models (with vintage problems) can’t complete with our Epiphone Dot, which is simply one of the best deals today for guitar players who want the classic sound of an ES-335 at an affordable price. Now the Dot Studio gives players the exact same sound and quality in a stripped down studio model made of mahogany. Similar to our Les Paul Studio, the Dot Studio has all the tone and functionality of our “Dot” but with a fabulous Vintage Sunburst or Cherry finish.

Semi-hollow Design, Solid Craftsmanship

The Dot Studio is constructed of mahogany with a mahogany center block and a hand-fitted, glued-in 24.75” scale mahogany neck. Other details include a plain fingerboard, a 1.68” nut, a SlimTaper™ “D” profile, and the traditional dovewing Epiphone headstock.

Ringin’ Like A Bell

The Dot Studio, like all Epiphone’s, features quality electronic parts including full-size, 1” 500K Ohm potentiometers, Epiphone’s all-metal pickup selector switch, and a heavy-duty output jack. Its fabulous semi-hollowbody sound is voiced by a pair of open coil, black Alnico Classic™ humbucker pickups. Controls include a master tone and volume.

Epiphone Hardware

The Dot Studio includes chrome hardware and premium 18:1 ratio black Grover® machine heads for superior tuning stability and accuracy along with Epiphone’s exclusive black LockTone™ locking Tune-o-matic bridge and Stopbar tailpiece for great sustain. The Dot Studio comes in Cherry (CH).
